UPTAC Registration 2026 Last Date – Final Deadline to Apply for B.Tech Counselling

UPTAC Registration 2026 last date for B.Tech counselling is 15 June 2026. As per the official schedule, that has been announced by AKTU on May 23, 2026, the registration for Round 1 of UPTAC 2026 B.Tech counselling commenced on May 25, 2026, and it will close on June 15, 2026. This date is extremely significant as AKTU has made it clear that registration is only allowed in Round 1 and there shall be no registration in Round 2, Round 3 and Round 4. Any registration post this dates would be invalidated.

Why the Registration Last Date Is Non-Negotiable

AKTU has clearly stated on the schedule that registration is only allowed once, only in the regular rounds. It’s not allowed in Round 2, Round 3 or Round 4. This makes the registration closing date, June 15th 2026 the biggest deadline in the whole UPTAC 2026 counseling process. If you miss it:

  • You are excluded from Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Round 4,
  • You will not get any seat no matter how good your JEE main rank.
  • The only remaining option is the Special Round, which has its own separate registration window.

Who Must Register Before 15 June 2026

  • B.Tech first year candidates with valid JEE Main 2026 score
  • Candidates who passed Class 12 from UP or whose parents are domicile of UP
  • B.Tech lateral entry candidates (Diploma/B.Sc./D.Voc.)

Outside-UP candidates whose parents are not UP domicile (OSGE category) are not eligible for regular rounds, they can register for the Special Round (Phase 2) between 18-21 July 2026.

Registration Fee

UPTAC 2026 counselling registration fee is Rs.1,000, payable online only via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. This fee is non-refundable. Banks may additionally charge service fees and applicable taxes.

Documents to Upload During Registration

  • JEE Main 2026 scorecard
  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
  • Scanned colour photograph (recent, clear — blurred photographs lead to rejection)
  • Scanned signature
  • Domicile certificate of parent (if studied outside UP)
  • Category certificate – OBC (issued on or after 01.04.2026 with creamy layer clause), SC/ST, EWS (valid for 2026-27)
  • Medical fitness certificate (Certificate No. 9)
  • Sub-category certificates (Freedom Fighter, Defence, Divyangjan) as applicable
  • Percentage conversion certificate (if mark sheet shows letter grades only)
